On who's going bowling, EXTREMELY EARLY PICKS

I have been requested to project who i think is going bowling this year, partly because I thought Louisville was going to the NC game last year and well............OK laugh it up! Take these with a grain of salt, these are picked as my best guess RIGHT NOW come late November, so feel free to post comments on what you think and arguement for your team if you disagree.

NC Game: USC vs. Florida
Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. West Virginia
Fiesta: BYU(at-large) vs. Illinois
Rose: Missouri vs. Ohio State
Sugar: Georgia vs. Oklahoma

Cotton: Texas Tech vs. Tennessee
Outback: Auburn vs. Wisconsin
Gator Bowl: Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame (They gotta go somewhere because of TV tie-ins)
Holiday Bowl: The "By-God" Texas Longhorns vs. Arizona St./Californina
Music City Bowl: Alabama vs. Wake Forest/Miami
Capital One: LSU vs. Michigan
Meineke Car Care/Soul-Glo Hair care Bowl: FSU vs. USF
GMAC Bowl: UCF vs. Miami(OH)
New Orleans Bowl: FAU vs. Houston

I know I left off some bowls because as soon as this is posted the NCAA will add 6 more, i apologize in advance, just ask me about your team/bowl and i'll try to figure it out. The bowl count is up to 157 games, 156 of those bowls name ends in .COM.

Going Bowling by conference:

ACC- Clemson, V-Tech, BC, Miami, FSU, Wake Forest, G-Tech, Viriginia

SEC- The entire conference minus Vanderbilt (and they have a shot)

Big East- West Virginia, USF, Rutgers, Cinncinati, Pitt

Big 12- Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Missouri, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma State

Big 10- O'fer State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan St., Michigan, Purdue

NC Game: I don't think Florida's defense is as good this year as it was last year; so I don't see them in it at the end. If OU or Texas wins the Big 12 and has no losses or one early loss, they will be here. Both of their schedules are difficult and will garner respect. I'd say USC has a chance because everyone else in the PAC 10 is pretty much wrose than they were last year; if not the same. Its all on dirty Sanchez for them.

Orange Bowl: I like Clemson in the ACC but Va Tech should never be overlooked. Their offense should be better this year. I agree West Virgina should be there.

Fiesta: Illinois? No way. Juice is great but the running game is far worse this year. Too much for him to handle alone. Historically, the Fiesta bowl always takes the Big 12 champ, when available. If the Big 12 champ isn't in the NC game, they go here in my opinion. I agree an at large pick is a fairly safe bet.

Rose Bowl: Ohio State is the closest thing to a lock on these predictions; so I agree on them. I don't expect Missouri to have a year like last year so I see the Rose going back to the PAC 10 for their pick...can Arizona State live up to the hype once they hit the harder part of their schedule.

Sugar Bowl: Georgia is here if they beat FL but lose another game to a lesser team. (Certainly possible with all the pressure on them) A second ACC team can be hear with a good season. (Clemson, Va tech)

I like most of your second tier bowl games, particularly the cotton and outback bowls. I refuse to believe Texas will go to the Holiday bowl....again. I guess we will see how it all shakes out in the end.
