Line Movements

Hello all that check this out. I am currently watching a trend that concerns me right now, and i know i was going to breakdown the BAMA/CLEMSON match-up but first things first. If you don't have an account with an offshore book or your not in Vegas, drop what you're doing, get an account(Check for legality) or book a ticket to Vegas. If not then beat down the door of your local "guy".

I don't normally come out this early with a pick but the mortgage is due and we got to get the bank roll up. There is a huge storm brewing and here it is:

Tennessee vs. UCLA+7 (MGM current line)

Take Tennessee, buy the half point down to -6.5 and get your action down!

This is a "4 star game" for THE GOAT right out of the gate

This line is ridiculous considering....

UCLA just lost both their starting QB's and Tennesseee has a lot to prove this year. I don't care
that Tennessee has to go on the road to play this game, the talent level for UCLA without 2 starting QB'S is not even close. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that Fulmer will have his guys ready for this game as Tennessee has to prove they are back among the nations elite teams.

THE GOAT likes this game RIGHT NOW* at the current number, and believe me, this line is going WAY UP in the coming days if not hrs. GET ON IT IF YOU CAN....

LOCKED IN
Tennessee -6.5 (Half point buy)

THE GOAT

*picks subject to change if "locked in" doesn't appear in post, or line jumps one way or the other more then .5 point

Pretty good pick, but.... Fulmer has had a bit of the shakes in games that count as of late. Makes me nervous about betting the farm on this pick. Prolly a middle of the road wager if you ask me, there's just too much money to be made elsewhere this early.

I din't say this was a "Bet the farm" pick, this is simply a great looking game that could get the bank roll started in the right direction, wager at your discretion. I believe like you that this is a middle of the road game as well. Please review blog, no where in there did i make this a "Bet the farm" pick.

I am concerned about Jonathan Cromptons problem with throwing picks and the offense turning the ball over, but the D is lights out, and looks to be as good if not better then the Nat. Champ team of '98 per the locals. The turnovers are a big concern though, but if UCLA can't move the ball, i just need Crompton to have two or thre scoring drives for the cover, which is possible with the weapons he has around him.
